You know, I don't know about you, but sometimes the small things in life do disturb me.
And surprisingly, it's the details of life that upsets me the most... and yet, it's the details of life that often makes my day...
Bigger things do get to me, but I've come to a revelation and realization that big things will have big solutions, and it just takes you to take one deep breath to get through it.
Whereas, it is truly the smaller things in life that leaves behind thoughts that never seem to fade away.
I was on the train few days back, on my way to somewhere ( I forgot where), and my eyes caught sight of a pair of shoes. It wasn't exactly a pair of very eye catching shoes, it wasn't the Pedro shoes or Beetlebug shoes that are fashionable and classy.
It was simply just a pair of old, a little worn out brown shoes, which are a little too big for that pair of feet.
And I couldn't take my eyes off that.
I traced the pair of shoes to the owner. I couldn't remember much about him and his features. But the only thing I can remember is that he looked a little lifeless, a little tired.
Some people might have laughed it off, or just ignored that matter.
Hmm. I don't really know why, but the whole picture I saw meant alot to me.
In fact, if I could, I want to buy a pair of shoes for him.
Some people may say that I'm assuming for another person again. Maybe what he needs is not shoes.
Well, maybe. Maybe not.
Loving people does not take you to know all about them.
You just need to open your eyes bigger, and fill in those needs that you see.
Loving God, loving people, loving life......
And loving the man who looked a little tired with shoes are a little too big for his feet...
