Though loud, I appreciate quietness at times.
Was heading home today with some of the G zone people and others, and all I wanted was few moments of silence.. not that I want to think about alot of things, but just that, I needed some time to myself and God.
Travelling time are the best, especially in the night. I like the stillness of the night, and the feeling of embracing the bright morning glory.
Jovi from CCH was amazing today. I literally saw how he grew ever since I helped out with CCH that time. He used to be really naughty, and can't really express his passion for God...
But today he amazed me with his passion and desire to know God.
He was with me while going home. He insisted that I sat next to him, which I did. (:
I felt loved by him.
I asked him what did he learn during CCH, and he looked at me, drinking his icy soya, and didn't respond much.
So I thought that he didn't hear me right. So I asked again.
This time, he continued to look at me, and continued to drink his icy soya.
So I decided to stop my questions. (:
Shortly after that, he opened his bag and dug out his blue notepad, flipping a few pages, and read out ' we will grow when we are stretched.'
And he told me that that is the title of the the sermon for CCH today.
I smiled, and I knew in my heart that this little guy did not ignore my question. But he was trying to recall what was being taught.
I asked him what he was going to do when he gets home. I guessed sleeping, watching tv. Which were all wrong. So I guessed playing computer games. Which I got right.
I smiled and laughed, and told him to why not read through the CCH notes at night.
He looked at me again, kept a little silent, and said with all the passion he could gather for God..
He said 'I think I should read through now.'
And we read his notes together, on the train... (:
That's not all.
Was watching him today while he was playing some game on the computer.
When asked to type in a name for the character, he typed ' Jesus.'
A normal kid of his age would have typed in his own name.
But he typed in what is of great importance to him, someone who holds a place in his heart. Jesus.
God, You never fail to amaze me in the way you work in people's lives.
How I wish you can learn to see the little things in life, and appreciate them with your heart.
