Knowing the status of your heart and embracing that status is a very powerful skill that anyone can learn in their life.
Sometimes, some people do not know the status of their hearts. They seem to be always rushing through life, rushing through things.
Also at times, some people tend to know the status of their heart, but tends to put in at the back of their mind, and not embrace and deal with that particular status if it is not a healthy one.
Pls do not be dense to think that I'm talking about the health status of your heart. I know you won't. (:
It often amazes me to find out the status of my heart. Because through that, you learn something new about yourself. Things that perhaps sometimes you never thought about at all.
It's exciting, yet a little frightening at times because you know that there are certain things in your heart that is not good, and not of God's standards. As unpleasant as it may be, you just have to deal with it, but be glad that you do not have to live with it.
The first thing I did when I reached home was to bathe, settle down, took out my bible and started reading. But I ended up on my usual spot, worshipping God.
I wasn't laid down by anything that bothers me, nor was I troubled by someone.
It was out of sheer passion that caused that. It wasn't even the passion for worship, or passion to get things out of Him. It was just simply a passion for intimacy.
Everyone has encounters with God. Everyone in church have at least moments which they each cherish.
But it is the intimacy with God that marks a man or a woman out from the crowd.
So, when you talk to somebody next time, do not just look at the person's actions or content of conversation. Learn to take a closer look to one's heart next time.
Giving my heart away, once again.
