As you walk down the streets, I wonder how many pairs of handholding couples will you see ?
I think you will at least see 5 couples for every 15 steps you take.
Sometimes I cannot help, but to take a better look at these couples. And in my heart, questions would burn so strongly. Will it last ? Do they really know the meaning of love ? Do these people know what does it take to love and be loved in return ? Is this relationship in the will of God ?
And most often, the answers to these questions are saddening.
People often do not understand the meaning of what it takes to really love another person.
We can all be loving people, but yet, not all of us can be lovers of soul.
The same logic, like what Psts always say, we can be friendly, but yet, we are not friends.
So ironic, contradicting, and what a conflicting and complicated statement.
But it truly means alot, and it speaks the loudest in this world today.
Many of my friends have crushes and people whom they call stead. I have not a single problem with that. I think it is normal, human and acceptable.
But my question for these people is always, WHY do you like/love him/her.
Answers such like 'Funny', 'Nice', 'Chemistry', 'Flow' will pop out.
Great answers. But I won't fall for that so easily.
However, recently I've been thinking. Real love and true love can withstand the fires of trials and times of testings. We, being animals would often get interested in something new. A novelty that dashes into our lives without seeing that stop sign.
But I think love is only precious when you can look into his/her eyes and tell him/her that many many 'novelty' have ran into your life, but he/she is the only one that caught your heart previously, now, and in the future.
Anything said to be precious must be tested, in order to be purified and strengthened.
