Oh life! What is life all about ?
We all start the same at the same place, and we end at the same place.
We start in our mothers' wombs, and end up in the graves.
So what's so spectacular about life ?
Life is about the fill-ins. It's about the in-betweens. It's about the blank that is between birth and death.
And that matters a whole lot, and it is exactly this that makes each of us to be so different.
Ever taken a 'cloze passage' test before ? Those people who are of my era will know.
Well, that's exactly what I mean. We all take the same test. Your test paper is the same as mine. However, it is the answers we each fill in that marks the difference.
Each of us fills in different things into the blank. And no one is less successful than the other. One gets lesser of what the other will get, and vice versa.
Somebody once said that one of life's greatest tragedies i to arrive at the end of your journey and realize you could have done more, laughed harder, played more intensely, and lived more vivaciously if only, you had taken the day by the throat and steered it the way you wanted to go. If only, you had made a conscious decision about what you wanted to do.
I love to take a step back and look at things.
And each time I do that, I cannot help, but say ' How great is our God' ...
Be driven not by anything else, but by eternity. Oh, that's what my life was about, is about, will be about.
